Principle
Chameleon pigments consists of various layers of metal oxide deposited onto a glass like material. Light striking the surface of these pigments is refracted and reflected and scattered by the layers that make up the pigment. Through a superimposition (or interference) of the reflected rays of light, a changing play of color is created, with the most intense color seen at the angle of reflection. |

Product
Chameleon I-Spec of D50 19 ¨C 21 microns is ideal for industrial applications. It is designed for decorative effects being applied for spray coating, injection moulding, screen printing and etc. The pigments could be used in both water-based and solvent borne systems.
Chemeleon P- Spec of D50 9 ¨C 11 microns is designed for gravure and flexo printing. The pigments are being classified into narrow partical size distribution to give good transfer and printing properties. The pigments could be applied in both water-based and solvent borne systems. | |
